Thixo Additive (RU-240 D)
RU-240 D Thickening Agent (Thixotropic) added to adjust the viscosity of RU-240 Urethane RTV system for Brush-On or Trowel On applications.
Mixing Instructions:
Part D may be added in amounts up to 2 parts by weight per 100 parts RU‑240 B. The more part D added , the thicker the mix. Add Part D to Part B and thoroughly mix before combining with Part A. In addition to the regular amount of part A, an amount of part A equal to the amount of part D used must be added as well.
Example:
RU‑240 Part D 1 2
RU‑240 Part B 100 100
RU‑240 Part A 10 + 1 = 11 10 + 2 = 12
Note: Pot Life will be increased as well as cured rubber hardness when using Part D.
Caution: RU-240 D causes burns of the eyes and skin and is harmful if absorbed through the skin. In case of skin contact, wash immediately with soap and water. Remove contaminated clothing and wash before reuse. Discard contaminated shoes. In case of eye contact, flush with water 15 minutes and seek medical attention.
