Shrinking Rubber (Reduce It)
Reduce-It is a one-component urethane elastomer that is blended with water and used to custom shrink pieces by 50% or more. Various amounts of water, 1 to 3 parts, can be used to adjust size of shrink. Reduce-It has a very quick gel time of 30 seconds with a 10-15 minute cure time. Just add water and quickly pour into Platinum RTV Silicone Mold or a Post Cured (@150F for 4-6 hours) Tin RTV Silicone Mold.

Mixing and Curing:
Calculate the volumetric amount of material needed to fill mold cavity. For a 50% shrink rate, blend 1 part resin to 1 part water. Quickly blend the two components together and immediately pour into mold-- Platinum/Addition Silicone Mold or a Post Cured (@150F for 4-6 hours) Tin Base Silicone. Compound will begin to foam and slightly expand. De-mold part after 10-15 minutes to allow shrinking process to begin, which may take between up to a week or more, depending on part thickness.
Storage:
Material should be stored in warm, dry area with lids secured tightly. Once containers are opened, material should be used in a short time period. Pre-test any aged material before using.
