Silputty
Silputty Silicone RTVs
Silputty Series are Platinum Based, Easy 1-1 Mix, quick curing silicone RTVs. Silputty is available in several forms: brush-on, liquid, and putty. Silputties are used for making impressions of custom tool fixtures, calibration impressions, rapid prototype, body part impressions, texture pads, food molds, and any application where a quick, temporary mold or rubber part may be required.
Mix Instructions
These products are mixed in the ratio of 1 part by weight of cross-linker to 1 part by weight of base--visual estimation of proportions is usually sufficient. Measure out the desired quantities of respective components and mix by hand until color is uniform. Be careful not to mix more than can be applied in 3 minutes. Immediately after mixing pour or press material into desired surface--taking care to avoid air entrapment. Temperature will affect the cure rate with warmer materials curing much more rapidly. **Please check Addition Cure Tech sheet for cure inhibition—Condensation (Tin) RTV, Sulfur Clay, Latex Gloves will inhibit surface cure resulting in a tacky or gummy surface.
