Rapid Set (Cure Additive R-1300 Series)
Rapid Set is added to R-1300 Series Condensation (Tin) RTV Systems for quick cures. Rapid Set is an additive to quicken cure, but will not cure rubber on its own and must be added at time of mix in addition to system catalyst.
Recommended Levels:
- 4 drops per/lb. = 30 min gel and 2 hour cure
- 8 drops per/lb. = 20 min gel and 75 min cure
- 12 drops per/lb. = 10 min gel and 1 hour cure
Measurements
- 25 drops = 1 gram
- 28 grams = 1 oz.
Cure and Gel times vary with each Condensation (Tin) RTV System. Ambient conditions--temperature and humidity—also affect these times. Please Pre-test to determine workability.

FC–200 (Cure Additive R-1100 Series)
FC-200 was developed to speed the cure of our R-1100 Condensation (Tin) RTV Systems. FC-200 is used in addition to the normal catalyst and will provide a usable rubber tool within 5 hours of pour at 1-2% level. FC-200 is an additive to quicken cure, but will not cure rubber on its own. Because of the rapid cure of the rubber, pot life is shortened. Please pre-test to determine workability.
