Method of Use:

R-1828 A is processed by adding the curing agent R-1824SP B. The addition of 10% catalyst (by weight) has a pot life of 35 minutes and is ready for de-molding after 6-8 hours. R-1824SP B has a trace of pigment for good dispersion. After the mold has been removed from the master, it should be left for 24 hours in order to develop its maximum mechanical strength.

For Brush-On Molds, use R-1800th B catalyst in place of the pour mold catalyst R-1824 SP B.

For quick cure, add extra R-1824SP B (12%) for a 3-4 hour de-mold time or use Rapid Set 10 drops/lb for a 1 hour cure. Curing a mold quickly with extra catalyst or Rapid Set decreases the shelf life of molds in storage and affects physical properties of RTV.
