Clear Tin RTV Rubber (R-1220 A/B)
R-1220 A/B Two-Part, Tin RTV (Condensation Cure) silicone developed specifically for its clarity. This unique system provides clear, semi-durable rubber used for custom molds and parts in the entertainment and special effects industries. R-1220’s low viscosity offers easier mixing and pouring. Parts can be tinted with small amounts of Silicone pigments. *Use in place of R-1120 Rubber Glass for more tear resistant parts.

Mixing Instructions:
Mix R‑1220 A with 10% of R-1220 B. Use two containers when mixing to assure a good mix. Pot life will vary due to environmental changes (ambient temperature and relative humidity). A pre‑test of a small amount will determine work time, usually 35 minutes. Pressure pot may be used to assure bubble release and clarity. R-1220-A may increase in viscosity (with time) and should be power mixed to reduce viscosity for processing.
Please contact Technical Support for assistance in your application of R-1220 A/B. This material can dry differently from summer to winter. Accelerated cures not recommended, but where needed use rapid set 4 drops to 12 drops per pound.
