Since 2003, The Plastics transformation industry in Brazil has been investing about US $6 billion to increase production capacity and modernize equipment until 2008. A plan to increase exports of plastics products is expected to further stimulate investments in the
sector. The plastics industry’s sales in 2006 reached US$ 18.6 billion a 16% percent increase over 2005. Resin consumption was estimated at 4.53 million metric tons in 2006 compared to 4.21 million metric tons in the previous year. The plasti...

I'm looking for a product comparable to Smooth-On's Plasti paste.

Product Description:

Suitable as a mother mold / support shell (reinforces shape of rubber mold during casting), or as a laminating material. Can be pigmented with So-Strong® color tints from Smooth-On.

Subject: How do I enlarge a mold? - by: Rene2704

Hi,
For a project I want to make a mold of a pregnant woman's belly and then enlarge the mold 2 or 3 times bigger than the original mold. Preserving detail is quite important.
I am very new to mold/cast making and I am not sure what materials or procedures I would need to use or if this is even possible in the first place.
Any hints, tips and advice would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks....

We recently purchased mass quantities of siltec75 to get translucent finishes.
There were perfectly crystal clear finishes we have aimed for with certain batches of siltec75's.
But now we are getting opaque white finishes on all 5 of 5gallon kits. We have been thinking it was temperature and humidity that have been playing big part in producing fail casts, but seems like it is the resin itself that is no good.
I understand that it is friday night but I really hope to hear from you shortly.

I would rather buy products from you, but I need to know which resin product that will do the equivalent to what is done here. Also, which Silicone mold product does not need a release agent.

Their product is called Platinum Silicon 7120 and Easy flo 120...
