Clear Flex (RU-530 A/B)
RU-530 A/B is a 70A, clear urethane castable rubber with good impact resistance and UV stability. Developed for applications where high clarity, flexibility and toughness are requested. Because of building exothermal reaction, size of parts may be limited.

Mixing Instructions
Blend components A & B thoroughly for up to 1 minute and immediately pour into mold cavity. De-airing mix or pressurizing part will help create bubble free castings. The area where RU-530 is processed should be controlled to eliminate dust and particles from contaminating mixture. Clear castings are sensitive to any foreign materials or air bubbles, which may appear during exothermic reaction if not processed properly. Clean stirrers and mixing containers should be used. RU-530 containers should be tightly sealed and stored in a dry area.
Casting
RU-530 A/B must be cast in Platinum Silicone Molds or in a properly processed Tin Silicone Mold (R-1300 Series) that has been post cured at 150-200F for 4-6hours. Small and thin pieces will require a post curing in an oven or hot box at 100-140F for 30-60 minutes. MS-122 may be used as a light coat for a mold release. RU-530 A/B is a flexible rubber, which cannot be polished. One-piece molds are recommended to eliminate parting lines.
