Mixing Instructions:
These systems are blended together by adding the B side component at the specified Mix Ratio. The addition of catalyst (by weight) has a pot life of 45-60 minutes. Since the B side (catalyst) is clear a thorough and complete mix is best achieved by mixing in two containers--transferring from the first mix to the second container and remixing. De-airing (degassing) is always recommended for optimal results. After material has been poured, allow 24 hours for it to develop its maximum mechanical strength.
Quick Cures: Use Catalyst R-1310 SP B when Poured or R-1300th SP B for Brush-On. These fast cure catalysts will reduce material Gel and Cure Times: 20 min and 3 hours, and will not affect the physical properties over the short time as will using the Rapid Set Additive.
Softening Agent: F-100 Thinner can be used to adjust skin hardness (Durometer). Gels can be created by adding high levels 100-200%. Add F-100 fluid to the Silicone RTV mix. The addition of 10-15% fluid will lower the hardness by 5-10 durometer points.
